Last month I attended a Frequency Training with Mas Sajady in Minnesota. It was centered around driving racecars at a bona fide track. All the attendees went through a Driving School which included a slalom course, skid pad, obstacles on the track and of course, driving as fast as you can. It was super fun! And in all the adrenaline coursing speed there were three words that stayed with me Correct Pause Recover. These were the words of our illustrious teacher who drove all the cars in the film Ford v Ferrari and has trained many of the top F1 drivers from around the world.
There are always opportunities in life that allow us to Correct our current course. Whether it be through action, word, thought, emotion; the opportunities abound. When we can see a place to correct the next logical and important step is to Pause. This gives us the time for a perspective shift that can significantly allow for new, healthier, higher level awareness patterns to be implemented. And often times when we implement a new pattern there is a place where we are releasing old, out dated, unhealthy patterns that can require us to Recover. Taking the time to allow the new pattern to be practiced and seen while allowing the old to die off and be the compost of the new version of ourselves is an act of recovery…recovering our truest selves.
It was incredible to be able to put the pedal to the metal without fear or worry. The micro and macro lessons are still being harvested from this event. It’s amazing what a lot of fun and speed can do for a person!
